Ove the years Anker gained reputations for high-quality technical innovation and the company was invited to produce chronometric equipment for the Munich and Hamburg observatories as well as the Zeppelin Airships.

In 1936 the company received the timing contract for the Winter Olympic Games.

During the Second World War, the workshop, offices, and sales headquarters were destroyed. However, as soon as manpower and materials were available, the facilities were rebuilt on the original location. The company continues to produce until today.
